It's simple! After you have logged in, click on the 'create a list' tab at the top of your page. Next, give your list a title and description, and begin to list out the positive things about your list on the pros side and the negatives on the cons side. You can move the orange squares over the emotional and rational weight based on the importance you place on each item. Once you have filled in all the pros and cons you can think of, your list will be weighed and an outcome will be displayed below your list. To finish up, save it, and if you would like to share your list just click on the 'Email list' icon and enter your friends email address.

Can I share my list?

Yes, sharing your list is a great way to share your experience with others and help people with the valuable information you have acquired. Once you have created a list, simply click on the 'share' icon and enter your friends email address, or, select a social networking site.

What is an 'Emotional' and 'Rational' weight?

Once you add a pro or a con to your list the next step is to weigh how heavily you feel about this particular item and if your feelings are more emotional or rational. For example, if you are making a list called "Should I buy a new sports car?" and the first thing you write under pros is: “it will make me look cool,” this would be an example of an emotional pro and you may rate it on a 1-5 scale based on how strongly you feel about this pro.

The results give you a clear and accurate view of how you really feel about your list.
